Ebay - easy and profitable

eBay is a very easy and legitimate way to make money online, you just have to setup an account at www.ebay.com and get going! Everybody has got stuff he can sell, and nothing's easier than using eBay's tools to sell stuff on eBay!

The first step is, as I already said, to get an eBay account. Along with that you should immediately get a Paypal account, since that is the most widely used and a highly secured payment system owned by eBay: It's the fastest and securest way to pay or get money sent, for everybody! Just go to their respective sites and setup an account, for free in both cases, of course.

Next, you have to look through your things to see which of them are good to be sold. Generally speaking, everything can be sold on eBay, but the best things are those which are worth the work of setting up the offers on eBay. You certainly don't want to waste half an hour on an old toothbrush which (if ever) will only bring you 0.2$ in sale. (Actually, I think selling used hygienic objects is illegal on eBay, but who knows, you could still try if you like, for the fun of it.) Popular things to sell, which generally get you a lot of profit are used electronics like mobile phones, TV sets, computers, laptops, brand clothes (D&G, Versace, Burberry,...), sunglasses and everything else which doesn't cost you a million bucks to be sent to the buyer. Just imagine buying a table for 20$ when the shipping costs would be 50$, that's just stupid and nobody would bid on such an offer.

Once you've decided what to sell, it's time to set up your offers. Just have a look at eBay's site to learn how it's done. To explain it in short, you have to make some good detailed photos of your object, write a good, precise description and inform the buyer clearly about the cost of shipping and the state of the object. Don't try to trick anybody into buying something old or broken, it won't work. Why? Well, you've got a feedback score on eBay which tells new buyers how trustworthy you are. Once you fucked up and someone write a review on you saying you're a bad seller, nobody will ever buy from you again. Be honest and everything will work out fine. Be sure to treat your customers with courtesy and friendliness. A good seller makes the buyer feel at home! Some ideas for stuff to sell on eBay

  • old books: encyclopedias, classics in literature and rare comics work best
  • used CDs and DVDs: digital content doesn't wear off, that's why old DVDs can always be sold well and fast on eBay
  • used mobile phones: as long as they're working, why shouldn't people want to buy them if they're in good condition? Somebody who would desperately like to have an iPhone but can't afford one will greatly accept some scratches if he can get one for 200$, which is peanuts compared to the 800$ for a new model
  • old laptops and computers are good to sell, too, because people often look for cheap machines for their children or their work where they don't need the newest model

All these are good examples you can make money with, once you learned how to sell stuff on eBay. It's an easy task and very profitable, so try it now! It doesn't cost you anything and will maybe get the clutter out of your house or apartment!
